Experience: David Minihan brings 15 years of coaching experience to the game. After being a top ranked junior, Minihan went on to play collegiately at the University of Incarnate Word. Minihan has spent the last 13 years at Westwood where he has built a strong junior development program. His personal accomplishments include publishing his first book titled, “Coaching Your Tennis Champion,” while also publishing many tennis articles for various publications. He is also a Master Professional with the United States Professional Tennis Association where only 1% of professionals worldwide holds this distinction. “Tennis is in my blood. I have loved this game since the first time I hit a ball. It has been a privilege to pass on my knowledge of the game to thousands of juniors through the years.” |

Marc Claude’, USPTA
Director of Coaching
Hometown: Upland, California
Experience: Marc has worked at Westwood Tennis Center for 12 years. Marc is a graduate of Norman High School where he won the class 5A State Championship at #1 Doubles. Marc has served on the Board of Directors for the USTA Oklahoma District and is on the Prince Advisory Staff. He is also a certified USTA official. In 2007, the USPTA Missouri Valley Division awarded Marc with the Assistant Professional of the Year award. Marc works directly with the Excellence and Excellence 2 level academy players. Marc attributes his success as a coach to his ability to coach tactical and technical aspects of the players game. |

Felipe Lopez
Academy Coach/Traveling Coach
Hometown: Foz do Lguassu, Brazil
Experience: Felipe came to the States from Brazil to play his collegiate tennis at East Central University. He is entering his second year as a Westwood Instructor. He previously taught at Lake Owego in Greely, PA. One of his major accomplishments was representing his home country, Brazil while playing tournaments throughout South America. Felipe’s main focus is working with the Future level academy players and focusing in on their mechanical development. Felipe also serves as the academy traveling coach. |
